MAKE-UPS: Fundraising meeting attendees earned a makeup, as well as Patty and John who attended the Port Elgin Club meeting.

BIRTHDAYS:         None this week                                    ANNIVERSARIES:  Gayle & Doug will be celebrating 42 years married this week.

PINPAL:  None this week.

50/50 DRAW:    Looking for the 9D, Louise drew the 6C. The pot stands at $435 and growing!

HAPPY DOLLAR$:

Susan was happy to spend a few days in Germany with a former Rotary exchange student and enjoyed five consecutive days of sun in Scotland.

Wynn was happy to have Gemey here this morning to help him understand why the Mount A womens college would need shaving mugs. He was also happy to take his wife out to see Chubby Checker for the 52nd anniversary of their first date.

John is happy that Gemey is here to speak today, which mostly means they could get their daily disagreement out of the way before breakfast.

PRESIDENT’S TIME

Gayle received a card from Salem Elementary thanking the Club for our contribution to the outdoor classroom.

Reminded everyone to send Gabi items for the Wine & Beer Event Silent Auction

Shared that several members will be taking place in PETS & SETS this weekend in Fredericton.

Expressed appreciation for members who have stepped up their game this winter to help out while several members are absent over the winter.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

·       Josh provided his weekly reminder to keep selling tickets for the Wine & Beer Event. Also there is a event set up on facebook to help get the word out, share the event and invite as many people as possible. There will be a shuttle leaving from Amherst again this year from the Sobey’s parking lot at 6:30, returning at 10:00, $5 round trip. Reminded members who have a spare cooler to bring one to the tasting event, and make sure you can identify it so it doesn’t “walk away” after the event.

·       Patty reported that an agreement has been reached with the Port Elgin club to share the cost of a RYE student. There will be an orientation meeting next week for inbound/outbound students in Moncton next week.

UPCOMING MEETINGS:  

Fundraising meeting again next week, Wednesday, 5pm at Mary’s.

PRESENTATION

·       Gemey Kelly  provided a presentation on the history of the Mount Allison Women’s College.


Louise concluded the meeting with the 4-Way Test.
